I believe that I did put it in the same directory, however, there may be some "pointer" issues relative to notes.ini and other key files. I will watch more closely in the future. As you will note, the default install is now under "Program Files" and the old default was in the root directory. Since you all have had no problems, I must assume that there might be some small bugs in an installation script somewhere that causes this problem.
